Francois Maritz is a pastor at the Dutch Reformed Church Hayfields in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
He obtained his Bachelors degree in Theology, as well as his Honours in Philosophy, Masters in Divinities and Masters in Spirituality at the University of the Freestate in Bloemfontein, South Africa. His research centered around using critical theory to analise the Dutch Reformed Church from a systems perspective.
Francois is currently pastoring in Pietermaritzburg, as well as actively thinking about the future of the Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa.
He loves working with diverse groups, where difference is embraced, and fresh forward thinking is celebrated.
